I’ve always been a teriyaki sauce lover. Any kind of teriyaki marinaded meat, a couple slices of fresh pineapple, and a drink with a little umbrella is all I need to get my hula on. So when I saw Erika’s recipe for Pineapple Jalapeno Teriyaki Turkey burgers, I knew I had found my recipe for this months Secret Recipe Cub reveal.
Except…
I was going to use beef instead of turkey,
skip the jalapenos,
and add some green onions and parsley.
Oh yea…
and I made meatballs!
I actually made this recipe a couple of different ways. I tried it as a meatloaf, and as meatballs in the crockpot. But it was the baked meatballs that made such a big splash around here!
They were a spicy little teriyaki meatball, bursting with a fresh pineapple flavor. The only thing I was missing was my drink with the cute little umbrella!

So fun that you turned the burgers in to meatballs. Sound so easy and delicious.
Love these little meatballs. They’d be great on an appetizer platter.
meatballs always make me happy. beef can be a bit strong for me but veal would be okay
the pineapple makes for a pretty contrast in the photos! Happy SRC day!
I like the sound of spicy meatballs.
I like meatballs better than burgers or meatloaf so I am with you on this. They do look great with the pineapple.
I love this idea. I’m a big fan of sweet and savory, and I bet these little meatballs fit that bill perfectly.
We love baked meatballs, they’re my daughter’s favorite especially and I think that these flavors would be a hit with her.
