It’s that time of year! Crafters start thinking of their holiday crafts, decorators start thinking about their decorations, and bakers start thinking about their Christmas cookie trays.
Last years 12 Week of Christmas Cookie event was so successful, that we are doing it again! Every Friday until the middle of December, a group of talented bakers will post a cookie recipe. Your gonna get a lot of cookie ideas for this holiday season.
It’s the 12 Weeks Of Christmas Cookie Blog Hop!
My first week’s cookie is a no-bake. But instead of your original version, containing peanut butter,
I dressed it up for the holidays!
I used Nutella!
In our opinion, these were even better then the original. These are our new *go to* no-bake cookie. I mean, who doesn’t LOVE the chocolate hazelnut flavor of Nutella?
It’s quite addicting, just like these cookies.
And if you like these, you should check out my No-Bake Granola Bars that you can flavor with Peanut butter or Nutella!
Now, go on and do the blog hop! The Christmas Cookie Blog Hop!
Just hop below!

Word of Advice: Don’t “play” with the recipe until you’ve done it AS IS!
What you’ve done LOOKS GREAT, and most likely tastes AWESOME!
I just tried the recipe for the first time, and I like to “play” with food. So, instead of quick oats, I used Red Mill’s thick cut oats (chewier), and I tried to use Stevia in the Raw as half the sugar. Well…they came out glossy and too sticky; kind of like chocolate fudge you buy in a jar to put on ice cream, but with CHEWY Oats and walnuts. Rather than throw them out (what are you, CRAZY?) I decided to use some coconut flour and unsweetened coconut flakes (after reading “How to Cook with Coconut Flour”, I realized this might do the trick and firm up the “mess” I made.) It WORKED! Probably not as good as if I had JUST FOLLOWED THE RECIPE, but do-able. They turned out looking like date-nut balls rolled in coconut. SURPRISE!! it’s Chocolate and Nutella Oatmeal Walnut TREATS! :> I keep trying to aim for “Healthier”. THANKS for the Recipes!! (Next time I will follow it as is.)
