I'm only 17, but i love baking. Lately I've become more interested and have been experimenting on making things from scratch, but I have a couple questions. How do you perfectly level out a cake? I tried the knife approach, but failed miserably. Also, have you ever used fondant? I tried to make some but it came out too soft and i had to patch it onto the cake. Didn't look to nice.
